Hey,
Has anyone using TNEW experienced a seat being locked into an online order (purple) that doesn't time out after the specified time allotted? If so, does anyone know of a way to force it to be released? I can't access the order, and no patron information shows.
Thanks,
Maurice
Good morning Maurice,
We have encountered this issue on a number of occasions and I believe that there are some shared reports available through TASK that can be run to unlock the seats.
CD Web Current Seat Locks (Report #171)- This report identifies the locked seats by Season
Cleanup Connection (Report #170)- This utility unlocks seats by the Locked by Number
Hope that helps!Short
Once you know the performance and seat_no you can use TP_NEW_RELEASE_LOCKED_SEATS, from TX_Perf_Seat.
Hi Maurice,
I'm not on TNEW but we've had to do the same thing here from time to time. If you are in the seat map you can right click on the seat and select Database Seat No from the menu. There you should see a Locked By = #### number. You can then run TP_CLEANUP_CONNECTION with that number as the parameter in SQL Server Management Studio.
Hope that helps!
Thanks all for the responses!
Chris,
Just went looking for these reports and it looks like your report solution numbers are switched -- might want to edit that for future reference?
Thanks though; Cleanup connection (170) was exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks, Nick! I've edited the post accordingly.
Glad this solution worked.
The #170 one, will that work with our Web since it is different? Just thinking out or rather “writing” out loud!!!

You know, I'm not sure. I have a feeling it will because we were using this custom report before we were TNEW users but it might be worth a TASK ticket to get Support's take on this.
