Online Chat

 Hi:

Has anyone integrated online customer service chat with Tessitura?

Thanks,

Wendy

  • We use LivePerson and our reps just create a CSI and copy and paste the chat session if they feel it necessary / useful. We thought about an integration for a couple of minutes when going with LivePerson but being a hosted service it wasn't worth the effort.

I'm looking into the OpenFire/Spark open platform - http://www.igniterealtime.org/ - it's possible something like a real integration would be more doable with an internally hosted application.

    Good luck!

  • Hello,

We are using craftysyntax.  It is free and works great.  Was not that had to setup.

    Jon

  • Thanks Jon. And where in Tessitura is the chat transcript stored?

We’re researching as well and I’ll share whatever we come up with.

  • The chat is stored in the craftysyntax mysql database.  But we could either use a CSI like Nathan , or look into linking the email address used when starting the session with an email in tessitura.  I have not had a request as of yet to integrate it with tessitura.

  • Is everyone still using Craftsyntax?  Or is there another online chat service now which offers better features?  We're looking to add an online chat feature for our box office reps.

    Cheers,

    Shannon

  • Hi Shannon,

We're getting ready to go live with a new site that includes PureChat chat widget.  They offer both a free and paid version.  Setup on was very simple.  If you're interested you can find more information on them at www.purechat.com

  • Thank you for your response!  Why did you decide to go with this company (testimonials?  price point?  features?)?
