We are desperately trying to figure out a way to remove the performance start time from our order confirmations now that we've implemented timed entry because it's confusing patrons and many show up at the wrong time after looking back at their confirmation email rather than at their ticket. Any advice? We're not using HTML templates.
Hi Jessica, There's a really good pop up skill builder for this! However, if you buid the zone as the timed entry time then the location will show up as the time that the patron has reserved for:

Thanks, Amber. I believe that's what we're already doing - see my screenshots above. Is this what you're referring to? This helps but we still want to get rid of the perf start time because patrons see it and are confused.
I'm seeing now that your screenshot doesn't include a perf start time in the description. How did you make that happen? Is this an aux event?
Hi Jessica, in the Product Type Editor in TNEW do you have your performance Time Displayed as false?
we do
Although it may be false in the Product Type Editor, is it also false in the Product Editor? Just wondering if that might be the issue.
Just realized we're not using html templates yet so this won't apply, right?
We don't use HTML templates either so, this should apply to your regular email confirmations.
Got it. It is set to False in the Product Editor as well.
Okay, the last thing I can possibly think of in Product Type Editor is in ticketing, is the Performance Title Displayed as False?
Other than that, I would suggest putting in a ticket.
Are you sending your email confirmation through TNEW or the Tessitura client application? I've found that when sending through the client it doesn't respect some of the TNEW settings and includes the datetime.
Performance Title is set to true but I've been told that we need it to be set to True. I'm going to set it to False in test and see what happens.
Both
That did the trick and now the time does not display on order confirmations for orders processed through TNEW! However, orders processed in the client app still display the time.
I never noticed that before! But ours does the same thing! Our patrons just haven't said anything about it so, I think if you do that in your live environment it won't be as confusing for your patrons.
Thanks so much for your help!
