Can someone help me understand the difference between owner, initiator, and recipient in Tessitura? I know that initiator is the person who initiated the order or donation. My assumption is that owner is which record gets credit for the order or donation. How does recipient fit in? Is it the record who is authorized to use the tickets?
Thanks,
Ashley
Hi Ashley,
From my understanding, the owner is the account that the transaction lives in, the initiator is the individual responsible for the starting the order, and the recipient is who each ticket belongs to.
I have used recipient in the past for group orders to keep track of who's ticket belongs to who.
Ah! Thank you.
While it's possible to send an TNEW email confirmation to owners and/or recipients, does anyone know of a way to send email confirmations to recipients as well? Often we have subscriptions for multiple people, but we are only able to send the confirmation/reminder emails to the owner.
Recipients: Has anyone figured out a way to send PAH tickets or re-send Mobile Tickets to a recipient in the sub line items?
I just learned this and I thought I might pass out with excitement. I've been using tessi for so long and had no idea. In the order details screen under the PMT schedule is Alt Address. That's it. Magic!
But I am unsure that works. All I see is ALT Addresses for the Owner. Not the recipient. Am I missing something??
The Alt Address window only lists the order owner's and order initiator's addresses. It does not list recipient addresses. It is also only possible to send PAH and Mobile tickets to one email address per order.
Here's a link to the help topic that details the Alt Address: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System/Content/Ticket_Order_Processing/Order%20Header.htm#Alt_Address
And here's a link to the topic that details how email addresses are chosen for print at home delivery: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System/Tessitura.htm#Ticket%20Printing/Print%20At%20Home%20Tickets.htm
