We want to begin emailing gift certificates and understand that Print at Home ticketing doesn't work on receipt designs so for those of you that are sending gift certificates by email, how are you doing it?
We had thought about using a triggered email through mail2, but it can't handle multiple emails to the same email address in the same day so that won't work for those who purchase multiple gift certificates in the same day and we have many patrons who purchase more than one.

Hi Michelle,
We email Gift Certificates, but only from our website, and that is handled entirely by the web code. We don't allow emailing of them via our Call Centre, which is what it sounds like you want to do, so I'd be interested to hear what other people do.

Hi Michele - we email them from our site, and then we keep a PDF template of one receipt (they don't get to choose design if they buy on the phone) in a shared drive for Call Center operators to pop open and fill out for those wanting to buy on the phone. The Call Center operator sends this from a generic Call Center email address.
Definitely not ideal! But they get out the door.

We do this, via a manual process, i.e. Box Office staff looks for PAH GC orders, prints the GC info to a custom SSRS report, which is saved as a PDF and then e-mailed.
Not an ideal process, but the modest number of PAH GCs is manageable.
We have been trying to use Mail 2 and in addition to the multiple gift certificate issue, if patrons have opted out the certificates will not be mailed. The other fun bit. We are running the email from a View and the email via Mail 2 is scheduled to be sent at 5:00 pm. Any orders received after that time and before mid-night are also not being sent.
We are looking for another solution.
