comp Rsn

on our ticket order page we have a button saying "Comp Rsn" which we believe means comp reason, we would like to use this but unfortunately are not sure how, when we click on it nothing happens.

To use comp reason you need to set up comp reasons that are attached to your price types.  There are two system tables that you use to do this: TR_comp code and TX_price_type_comp_code.  You set up what you want the comp code to be called in TR_comp code and then link it to the appropriate price types in TX_price_type_comp_code.  Once this is set up if a CSR adds a ticket with a price type that has a comp code linked to it, it will trigger a window that asks them to select the appropriate comp code.  The button at the bottom of the ticket order page is just to change the comp reason code or look at it after the order has been saved.

You can look at the setup details in the system tables doc here:

    http://www.tessituranetwork.com/network/Learning/Documentation/System%20Administration/System%20Tables.aspx

    Hope that helps!

You can also look at comp codes in T-stats if you have that.  (sorry it took me so long to respond..I was out for the holiday!!)  It is in the Tickets Cube- Ticket order details, Price Type Reason.  I have a report set up for each show so I can see how the comps and other prices we have reasons on are doing.

Otherwise, the custom report is the way to go or I used to use a custom element in list manager and/or output set builder to get the information I needed before T-stats.

    HTH!
