Hello Tessiturians,
We at the NT are looking at implementing HTML order confirmations, these are currently sent in plain text. I'm trying to get an idea of how many other organisations send their confirmations in HTML and whether this has presented any unexpected (or expected) complications or issues.
Any feedback is welcome, even if it's just a brief "yes, we use HTML order confirmations."
Many thanks,
Geoff White

Yes, we use custom HTML e-mail order confirmations.
Geoff,
We have HTML confirmations and have had no issues with them at all. It’s a bit cumbersome to edit them if changes need to be made, but overall, we’ve been using them for about 6-7 years and haven’t had any issues.

We use HTML confirmations at First Stage. Being able to add colors & graphics has been helpful in breaking up the content (cart, terms and conditions, etc). The plain text confirmations got to be too long.

We've used HTML confirmation emails for quite awhile now, including for password resets and membership purchasing.
We use HTMLl as well.
