Have any RAMP users who have converted to Xenapp been able to successfully run applications on iOS devices? I got the Citrix Receiver installed, and can bring up the app screen, but when I launch any of the applications themselves (Tessitura client, Password Reset Tool, security module, etc.), it spins as if to launch, but the application never opens.
I know RAMP has said that they don’t officially support Xenapp on iOS devices, but quite a number of staff use iPads to access Tessitura, including me – I don’t travel with a notebook anymore, only with my iPad. And if I can’t access my RAMP tools when I’m out of the office, it will have serious consequences.

Jeanne,
As far as I know, the answer is no with regard to being able to access any of the applications on iOS. That was one of the first things I tried as well, to see if there would be a quick way to look at the database other than Tessitura on the Go.
Thank you,
Brian
Hello
Did you ever manage to get Tessitura working on your ipad via Citrix Receiver? We are trying it now and cannot even connect! Thanks for any feedback you can offer.
Karen
Karen, I've been able to log into RAMP using the Citrix App available in the App Store. Once I downloaded that, I could then open the ica files using that Citrix reciever.
When you have a moment can you tell me how you were able to login? We have downloaded the Citrix Receiver from the app store but we are kind of guessing at what credentials we need to supply to make a connection. Especially the address line…we have tried https://naramp.tessituranetwork.com, https://naramp.tessituranetwork.com/Citrix/TessituraWeb/ and https://naramp.tessituranetwork.com/vpn/index.html all of which give us varying levels of success. User name and password would be our citrix login and password and I suspect we wouldn’t need a domain…so we just add the account with a token. But as I said we cannot get it to work. If you could email your steps to connect we would be very grateful. My email is karen@rmts.bc.ca
Thanks! Karen
Several years ago with an iPad connecting to a copy of Tessitura NOT on RAMP. I was able to connect and use Tessitura tessitura. I did NOT try all features and functions as if I was going to use this in a production manner. I found using the client to be awkward with an onscreen keyboard. I have not tried to use in on an iPad with a keyboard case.
With the new flurry of activity on this topic that I commented on over a year ago, I actually have new information on this that contradicts my initial response haha.
I have an iPad Pro and I actually have been able to access the full Tessitura application through it.
I downloaded the Citrix Receiver app https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/citrix-receiver/id363501921?mt=8 and then I go to https://naramp.tessituranetwork.com to provide my Login Name, Password, and 6 Digit Code from Token per usual.
That grants me access to the usual RAMP screen of available apps, and I click on Tessitura - LIVE and when the .ica file opens, there's a prompt to Open in "Receiver" which then opens Tessitura as expected, and it's the full-featured version of the application.
I actually decided that TLCC 2017 was going to be my test run of not hauling the bulky laptop and instead just bringing my iPad (knowing that I might need to access Tessitura to provide support from away), and it worked beautifully.
Thank you Brian! Your feedback and instruction cleared things up for us and we are now in. We were definitely overcomplicating things!
Hi there,
I'm trying to do the same thing on APRAMP but can't get the .ica file to open and request to go to open "receiver".
Was there any magic involved in getting that popup? Which browser on iOS were you using at the time?
Cheers,
Paul
Paul Congdon: Just sent an email with some screenshots of the process I follow on iPad for Tessitura access. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the screen shots. For anyone searching this thread.... SAFARI not Chrome on iOS lets this magic happen!
