This one if for the NPO/other ACE funded organisations who will be working with the Arts Council's (ACE) new Illuminate platform. You may have noticed in the most recent update that Tessitura isn't listed as one of the current box office providers they have setup up an API feed with. This is surprising to me considering it's one of the biggest used in the sector. I'm hoping there is just a delay in this being setup. I've emailed Tessitura already to ask for details and completed the form ACE sent in their update to get a better picture of the different providers everyone is using. I recommend as many of us possible to fill this in to help push Tessitura being included forward (haven't posted the form link as I'm not sure it's allowed on this forum but will happily do so if it's permitted). Again this could be in the works already but it wouldn't hurt to help towards making the case stronger as I'm sure none of us want to be doing this as a manual process!

Did you or anyone else have any success in creating an analytics report to meet the Illuminate data upload requirements? I have a memory that Kate Watson was having a look at what could be created as a stopgap before the integration is sorted?

Hi Isabella, You're correct, I have been looking into this. Straight after the insights group meet-up I built out a dashboard, and we’ve been piloting it with a few members who have very kindly been testing it out in their environments. We wanted to test it with a variety of different organisation types before rolling it out to make sure we were able to account for the nuances in each organisation’s configuration in Tessitura. This has been helpful in ensuring we produce clear documentation on how you can make changes to the dashboard if needed to reflect your organisation’s data.
We're almost at the end of the pilot and collating the feedback, so we should have a further update for you in the not too distant future!

Am i not right in thinking that we are not expected to upload data until the integration has been done anyway? Im pretty sure there was an update to that affect a month or so ago?

I think you're correct - the September email update from ACE says they expect the API- for integrating with wider range of systems would be operating early in the new year and that we would have to input our box office/ ticketing data for 23/24 into Illuminate by end of July 2024.
We think, based on that September update, we still have to upload Event data (including capacity and attendance) by the end of December even though the box office data can wait until July.
Yes, that is what I have understood. So the Analytics dash you are referring to, is that solely for the main event data/attendance figures (not for the detailed ticketing data)?
The dashboard has been created to meet the requirements outlined in the 'Box Office Data Template' provided on the Arts Council's website for Illuminate. It allows for a manual upload of data into Illuminate by exporting the data from Analytics, into the template provided by the Arts Council.

Hi, I'm also struggling to get reports that show all of the data Illuminate want. I've built a dashboard that shows some of it, but am struggling to get individual ticket price per order rather than the total order price, and the time of the order. Has anyone been able to figure this out please?
