SYOS Seatmap - Is there a way to increase the scale or the zoom level of the seatmap on load?

Good morning,

On a TNEWv7 SYOS screen I'm wondering if there is a way to increase the level of the default scale level?

I've had a look around in the syosController object and there's a few properties such as scale at the following location: screenContainer.syosController.seatContainer.viewport.scale that I'm under the impression have an impact?

For example on one seatmap can see the screen container is given a scale value of "0.11974584555229717" which affects an inline css property for .tn-syos-seat-map of transform: scale(value).

Is there any way I can increase this by 125% or 150% to make the seatmap appear larger on initial load?

Thanks

  • HI Patrick,

At this time, adjusting scale externally (via your own CSS or JS) is not a supported feature of SYOS.

The values are all dynamic based on the size and shape of the seat map & the size and shape of whatever container SYOS is in (which itself is dependent on the device dimensions). If you were able to adjust those values, it might make a better fit for one user’s situation but make SYOS unusable for others.

I recommend submitting an "idea" via the ideas board if this is a feature you'd like to see adjusted or implemented.

Given the complexity of SYOS and device scaling / zoom, it would be fragile to implement something on your own, and our support team wouldn't be in a position to help you out with issues you encounter.
