Apologies if there's a thread for this in place already, but one of our leadership team is having issues with her iPhone when trying to read PDFs. I'm gathering more info as I can, but I know the issue of PDFs auto-sending from Tessitura, but not being readable, was a known defect a while back. Has anyone conquered this? Or is this still a known defect?
Yeah...this is a pain.
SOLUTION: Download the Acrobat App (free). Then, when you open the fuzzy attachment in the email, select the Send/Export (up arrow in the box, on the bottom left) icon which pops up the ways to send it. You can AirDrop, Message, Mail, etc - it can all be configured. The Acrobat App can be an option there. The PDF opens clearly.
The setup take a moment, but once setup, it is pretty quick.
Hope this helps!
It’s an issue with iOS and InfoMaker. I think it started with iOS13. Another reason to be excited about the gradual retiring of InfoMaker reports from Tessitura.
I passed this on- thanks!
Gotcha- thanks! I have no perspective on Infomaker beyond the references I've heard to headers in Tessitura. Is it still used for the reporting architecture?
Less and less. The green icons in the Reports and Utilities selector are Infomaker reports:
https://docs.tessitura.com/Help_System_v151h/Tessitura.htm#Reporting%20Overview/Reports%20Overview.htm
Infomaker was also used for custom screens and custom headers, although most newer custom screens are built using SSRS and most header customization is done through Flex Headers these days.
Hi Nate, I can't tell from the screenshot which report this is but there are a lot of reports that are Infomaker in v15 that have been converted to SSRS in v16. Hopefully, this is one of them! We are also continuing the conversion process in future releases.
