Hi all,
We are having an issue with the standard Box Office Statement report. The tickets and revenue reported in the top section of the report don't match the tickets and revenue reported on the bottom section of the report. This issue only occurs for some performances.
Has anyone encountered this issue or have any troubleshooting tips to share?
Many thanks!
I have not encountered this. I know that the total number of tickets on the top portion does not include COMP tickets, which makes it look different.
As for the amount, have you checked to see which one matches Season Overview? I don't know what that report does with sales that fall into the "Collected Resv/Uns" category.

Check out these situations, which may cause discrepancies:
1. Price Type Categories > 5 or revenue for price type categories 4 (Comp) and 5 (Press)
2. More than one price map on an assigned Price Type (to a Perf) marked as Ticket Price, which can cause doublecounting on this and a few other reports including Season Overview.
Not sure what the issue may be here without further details. I would open a support ticket if you don’t spot an obvious reason.

We ran into this problem when we added a new Price Type Category. The system allowed us to do it but did not add the heading to the categories on the Statement, which still only reflects the Subscription, Standard, Discount and Non-Revenue headings. Our work around was to supplement the statement with a sales report that reflects the other ticket types.

Thanks for all the advice! After a bit of digging, we learned that we have some price types that do not fall into price type category 1-5, which was throwing off the report. We are going to use a different report for reporting on performance sales.
