Does anyone have a custom utilty for the front end of Tessitura to unlock seats based on seat number?
Often patrons select the seats they want online then immediately call in to purchasse those seats. Instead of waiting out 30 minutes for the seats to automatically release, we would like our Box Office managers who do not have access to SSMS to be able to just enter the seat number into a utility and unlock it. Just wanted to see if any other organization had developed anything like this before delving into customizing something specific. Saw a couple shared reports in TASK, but nothing that specifically unlocked by that database seat number you see when you right click on the seat in the seat map.
You specify "seat number" in your post; would the order number work? We have a report which does exactly that but works off of the inputs season/performance and order number.

If the seat is just locked by someone online would there still be an order number generated? Does that show on the seat map too? We do not have any SYOS tickets on sale at the moment for me to test that and see what comes up (I do not work directly in selling tickets).
If you right click on the map where the seats are being held online (usually purple on the seat map unless you have changed the colour scheme) like you are going to add a hold code or something, in that window you can see the temporary online order number. So you cannot just hover over it, but it is not hard to come up with that number.

Oh, you guys, I'm so sorry to get everyone excited! I mis-read the original post. Our utility unlocks via the "locked by" number, not the database seat number (though the locked by number is found by clicking on the seat map). Also, it won't unlock an order that's held in an anonymous web user's cart if the time the seats have been locked is under the web timeout value from T_DEFAULTS -- so it won't really help with those customers who put stuff in their cart, then call you to buy the same seats.
Our utility is a slightly modified version of the Cleanup Connection utility available in Shared Reports. I'm still happy to send it to anyone who's interested, but wanted to make sure I let you know I had over-promised!
