Hello,
I am having some trouble switching to a different MOS on an order. The error message I received says "Unable to change MOS. One ofr more of the packages in the order are not for sale in the new MOS chosen"
Now, before you roll your eyes...I did check all my MOS parameters and they are active for the packages within the order. Start date for the MOS is before the order date and end date extends far beyond today's date.
...so what am I missing?
Did you check to make sure the MOS is in each performance, as well as each package? That gets me sometimes because the MOS needs to be in both places (as well as the price types).

You actually don’t need the mode of sale on the component performances to sell a package. You just need it on the package.
You should check to make sure that the delivery method for the order is associated with the new mode of sale in TX_MOS_SHIP_METHOD. Not having the mode of sale and delivery method associated can lead to an error when you change the mode of sale on an order with line items. I thought the error text was different for that than what you are seeing, but it’s worth trying. If that doesn’t fix it, I suggest opening a help ticket.

Also make sure that your user group has rights to the mode of sale.

Never mind, Didn't think through that one. If you didn't have rights to it, you wouldn't be able to select it to get the error. It's been a long day.
