Can someone guide me in setting up the billing schedule? The documentation is super-confusing. This is what I want to do...
I want one third of the payment taken today (or the day of the order), one third of the payment scheduled thirty days from the first payment, and the final third scheduled thirty days after the second payment.

What version of Tessitura are you on? Not 100 percent sure about version 12.5, but on version 11 you can set up the billing schedule on the individual order using the PMT field right next to the Channel field in a ticket order. Perhaps you already know all this, but pressing the "chicklet" button next to PMT drops down a box (Order Payment Schedule) in which you can designate dates, billing type and schedule. We have documentation on how to set this up (in version 11), if it helps...

Hi Adria –
It sounds like you want to use relative dates based on the schedule start date (“S”). So, your three installments would be S+0 (the date of the order), S+30 (30 days from the schedule start date), and S+60 (which would end up being 30 days after that second installment).

Not sure if you've already solved your problem, but in TR_BILLING_SCHEDULE you need
Bill Amounts: 33.34%,33.33%,33.33%
Bill Dates: S,S+30,S+60

Hi Adria, you may want to add some extra decimal places (33.333333%). I found that with my monthly billing 8.33% worked for $120 gifts, but for $1,200 it was giving me $99.96 instead of $100 a month. It's unlikely to always be perfectly even since it's one third with even amounts and Tessitura will always add the balance to the last payment.

The problem I was having is that once I was in the payment scheduler it wasn't dividing the payments up into thirds evenly in the client but works fine for online orders. It's weird. I'm just going to leave it as is and manually edit the schedule for phone orders. Thanks.
