We're looking into using the Gift Certificate functionality in Tessitura and ran into a question I couldn't find an answer to. If a gift certificate is lost, is there a way to cancel that gift certificate number and issue a new one?
I'm interested in hearing all about your creative approaches!

We've simply bought a new gift certificate using the old certificate. As long as you have the old certificate number, or know the patron ID of the purchaser so you can track it down, that works perfectly.
I’ve never had that situation but I would buy a new gift certificate using the ID# of the old gift certificate (# can be seen on original order). This is how we extend the life of a gift certificate if someone is unable to use it by the expiration date.
