Hi,
We are about to convert to 12.5 and are very excited about the possibility of using tokenization for auto renewals. Is anyone out there using this functionality who would be willing to share their stories on how the process of tokenization is or is not helping their business model?
Thank you,
Sadie

Hi Sadie,
Did you end up turning on tokenization once you upgraded? Have any other companies gone this route? With any stories to share?
Thanks,
Frannie
Jumping it to see if anyone has implemented tokenization yet.
We are interested in tokenization as well and would also love to hear from those who have implemented it.
We are also interested in Tokenization. Has any done this in a Gateway-ed situation?
Would love to talk with anyone who has completed the process. If fact if there are a number of organizations interested in the topic. I'd be glad to get involved in setting up a conversation between multiple groups.

We are also interested in tokenization.
We have EMV over USB working on a test basis at the moment, and are planning to move on to tokenization after the new card readers are rolled out to Live, connected via TCPIP, perhaps within the next few months.
It sounds like no one has done Tokenization yet.
I'm going to reach out to network staff and see what we can do to pull together a conversation on Tokenization.
More when I know more.

STC has implemented tokenization (with Payment Express) and we have had to turn it off.
For all web orders if you have tokenization turned on Tessitura ignores CC_STORE_ACCOUNT and silently drops all credit card account data. No entries are written to T_ACCOUNT_DATA.
Support has confirmed this is by design and won't currently be fixed until at least v14. We are not happy about this and are trying to escalate a real fix.
If having no card data for your web orders is fine then there are also a cosmetic bugs that pop up when you use save a card to an account manually. The card type drop down includes an entry for all the cards with each payment method group. So you need to move Credit Card to be first to not confuse people.
Nich
Hi Nich,
I am surprised to hear that. Tessitura’s tokenization FAQ seems to contradict the “by design” response you received. Here is the statement I’m referring to:
How will tokenization affect my website? Tokenization should have no effect on your website. Any credit cards that are saved through your website (because you are saving credit cards for payment plans or are a user of Payment Express with automatic credit card storage turned on) are automatically tokenized.
That statement comes from this document: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/~/media/Documentation/System%20Administration/Tokenization%20FAQ.ashx. I interpreted “automatically tokenized” as meaning that T_ACCOUNT_DATA would be written to, as a token that isn’t retained is not useful. Based on what you experienced, it sounds like that statement in the FAQ is inaccurate?
David
For clarification, what we are addressing with Nich in his TASK ticket is related to passively saving authorized cards as tokens when the authorization comes thorough on the web when using Payment Express. This issue is resolved in v14 and we are reviewing it for v12.5.1 .The functionality related to explicitly saving tokens as part of a payment plan using either Payment Express or Vantiv is working as outlined in the quoted FAQ in v12.5.1.
Best,
Anna
Happily Tessitura has back ported the fix for the issue we had so we now have Tokenisation live at STC with Payment Express in production.
If anyone has any particular questions about it let me know?

Hi Tom.
Not sure if I will be attending; we’re still discussing whether anyone from IT will be going. But I’ll let you know as soon as I know for sure.

Will you be a Confrence this year? Would love to here more about your experience setting up, and operating with Tokenization.
