Audio Described Performances - How To on Tessitura

Hi All

I'm interested in how other organisations detail Audio Described performances (or any other special performances) in Tessitura.

At present our Ticketing department do this via TR_Calendar_text.  While this highlights it to Box Office staff, we are unable to report on this.  Also it is not apparent at performance level that it is the AD show (unless you spotted it on the Product Calendar).  Therefore I am looking for ideas on how best to build AD performances.

Very many thanks in advance

  • Hi Lee-Anne,

It’s a bit of double entry, but I’ve put a keyword on at the performance level, and then entered a note in the ‘sales notes’ for that performance.  I can then pull on the keyword, but the sales note makes it easier for box office to notice.  I’m sure there are lots of other people who do it differently, though!

    Cheers,
    Kathleen

  • Hi Lee-Anne.

We have a performance type, a key word and a sales note to cover all the bases.  We also use an access price type which adds a flag to constituent headers so we know to offer these perf dates to customers who usually avail of them.

    Thanks,

    Aoife
