This is sort of a two part question...
First...
I ran the seat cancellation for my rolled over subs renewals and I noticed from looking at the seat map that there were some orders that were not affected by that procedure. I can't seem to find a common link between these orders as to why they weren't canceled.
Any ideas or insight as to why they weren't canceled as they should have been? They were unpaid, unrenewed rolled over subscription orders.
Secondly...
Why do some orders that are partially paid show up as light blue in the seat legend as well as completley unpaid orders? Some partially paid orders are pink and some are light blue. Why is this?
Thanks,

Hi Amy,
Do these rolled over orders have any seats with no value? If so these can not be released via the seat cancellation report as they are considered paid. This usually is from comps or from a price mapping issue. As far as the seat legend goes maybe the pink are orders where one of the tickets is completely paid off and another is not. I believe that tessitura applies payment to one ticket at a time so if there is enough paid to cover one of the tickets in an order it might consider it paid on the seat map.
Hope that helps.
For part 2: If the paid amount of a partially paid order is greater than the amount of one whole seat (or several) then those seats will show as paid (pink) in the seatmap and SPD on the sli tab. I don't know exactly how it determines which seat becomes the paid one if, for example, they all cost the same but only one ticket's worth has been paid off. But it's all proportional.
I believe Tessitura pays the orders off in the following order; contributions, fees, tickets, then working down the line of tickets in subline items. This is the reason why some ticket would be paid off in full and others not.
Sub line items (or seats) are paid off in date order starting from the earliest unpaid performance. Each seat is considered Unpaid until it is fully paid. If you make a $75 payment on three $50.00 seats (total $150.00), you will see 2 unpaid seats and 1 fully paid seat on the order. However, one unpaid seat will have $25.00 paid.
