PAH Options

Hi there.

Our customers place orders via phone, mail and web. The PAH ship method is only offered to constituents who place web orders. Does anyone offer PAH on mail and phone orders?

  • Yes, we offer them on phone orders. We ask them before we start the order how they would like the tickets delivered.

    We find it is a great way to get our patron's email addresses. (She says with a gleeful cackle). We don't sign them up for anything, but we do send emails about their purchase and hopefully starts a conversation with them that will develop into something more meaningful.

    It also clears up our will call line (especially that last weekend of a show) and saves us money on mailing.

  • Yes to the last point!  Our HABOS lines are practically non-existent now. Also vein able to scan mobile phones and tablets help as well.

  • Yes we do! We charge to have hard tickets mailed but PAH is always free.  This has led to significant less line-ups at the door for pick up.  Also a great way to build the email database!

    We allow PAH options to patrons who order tickets via phone and web. We also offer PAH tickets for our season ticket holders subscriptions packages and any non-traditional group ticket purchase.

  • Hi Susan:

    We offer print at home from our phone room also. We've not had any issues.  The one business rule we have is that if a patron doesn't receive the print at home, and they've checked their spam folder and we've checked their email address, we will only reprint hard tickets.

    We only offer print at home as an option for single tickets and we process very little in the way of mail order requests for single tickets these days.

    I'm particularly interested in the level of take up and whether you experience any difficulty processing exchanges (do you exchange within or outside of the original booking)?
