When we record a customer's business address users are placing the organization name in various place. Sometimes it is in Street 1, sometimes in street 2, sometimes in salutation 2 and I was wondering if there is a Tessitura best practice around this? If so what is the best practice? If not, has anyone set a business rule to handle this? We were discussing the idea of using street 3 for this and creating a business rule that defines this for our users.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to you insights
This a video we created to give our staff a sense of how our org needs to input addresses. Company is covered in the second half.

I think it would be a best practice to keep the company name of a business address out of salutations, unless the salutation is specifically meant to be tied to the business type of address only (so not a default salutation, perhaps).
We have renamed Street2 on our screen “Apt | Care of” and Street3 “Company”—but because Street3 doesn’t fit on our ticket header, we tend to put company names on Street2 if the field is not being used.

Thank you.
Thank you for pointing out the issue with the ticket header. Much appreciate it.
Hi Arthur - We use Street 3 for company names as well.
We have found it important to periodically remind users to include Street 3 in their output sets and to make sure that they request printing of that field from their mailhouses. Every so often, someone forgets to add that field, and we end up with some unhappy patrons who missed an important communication.
