Selling an allocation with a promo code attached in house

Hi all!

We typically sell to groups online using an allocation, that is associated with a particular MOS, price type and promo code.

However when attempting to sell under this scenario while being in Tessitura using the Ticketing Orders module, the price type does not show up.

The user groups have access to the MOS and everything works normally online when using the promo code.

Are we able to select a price type in Ticketing Orders that is associated with a promo code??

    Hi Steven,

    Does the internal box office MOS that you use have access to this particular price type in the TX_MOS_PRICETYPE system table? I think you're saying that the user group has access via the security module so that's the next thing I usually check...

    We usually enter the source code as one of the last actions of creating an order, so this sometimes trips us up through force of habit! When selling an offer offline the source code is required in order to make the associated price type appear.

    In this case, our box office uses the MOS assigned to the price type in TX_MOS_PRICETYPE.

    Amazing!

     

    While I was troubleshooting, I selected the MOS first then tried to select the source code but the source code did not show up (thus the price type did not show up). However, if the source code is selected first THEN the MOS, the price type become available.
