Null Printer on RAMP with Macintosh Client Workstation.

Has anyone worked out how to set up a NULL Ticket Printer when the client computer running Citrix is not a Windows PC but is a Macintosh Computer?

We have not found a configuration where a Macintosh user can print to a "Null Printer".  This would be particularly helpful for Testing.

  • Hi Tom,

We haven't been able to figure this out either. As far as I know, they aren't compatible. Alternative possibilities that we have played with are:

    1. Installing windows emulation software on the workstation and installing the null printer through that.

    2. Batch printing tickets to file instead of to a null printer individually. This way, tickets as marked as printed and the user can proceed with an exchange/testing/etc.

Curious to see if anyone has a workaround.

  • I'm using VMWare Fusion on my Mac.  And can work this out in this way.  However, that is an extra expense and adds complication to my workstation.

What in particular are you referencing when you say "Batch printing tickets to file instead of to a null printer individually"?
