can't log into client

When I start the Tessitura client app I'm getting this message

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Request: POST https://rest services url/TessituraWeb/Diagnostics/Check
<DatabaseCheckRequest><ServerName>myservername</ServerName></DatabaseCheckRequest>
Response: 500 Internal Server Error (31ms)

I'm not sure where that error is coming from or where i should look.

Which version are you running, and have you upgraded recently?

We recently upgraded our servers and clients to .NET Framework 4.6 in preparation for our upgrade to Tessitura v12.5. Once our servers were running .NET 4.6 I got a similar (possibly identical) error trying to start the 12.1 client. If that's your issue it's easily corrected with an addition to your INI file. See the 12.1 to 12.5 upgrade documents here (page 8.)

  • Am not 100% sure as am not near my pc to check our internal help desk; but it might be that the pc your trying to open the client doesn't have the correct time. You could try checking the time is correct/matches the server and amend so it is and see if that fixes it.
