Hello,
I wanted to follow up in the Split Payment question we posted in the Roadmap workshop this morning. We are currently unable to set up split payment using 2 credit cards and it was mentioned that this is possible during the Roadmap workshop. Can someone please help point us in the right direction to set this up in Tessitura v11.4 as we are only able to use 1 valid credit card for the split payment option.
Are you referencing web purchases or split payments in the client by a user? If you are referencing, in the client, you would split the payment by simply inserting a new line in the payment window. In that line you would add the 2nd form of payment. If it is a credit card, you can authorize all cards at once by simply clicking the authorize button.

Thanks, Christopher. I should have been more clear. I was referring to the Payment Schedule option in Tessitura.
We have a payment schedule 'split payment' option during our subscription renewal period where the patron can pay 1/2 the owed amount at the time of renewal and the remaining 1/2 on a scheduled date in Tessitura.
Harpreet,
This can be done in the application using Payment Schedules. Here is the link in the help system for this functionality in orders: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v12/Content/Ticket_Order_Processing/Using%20A%20Payment%20Schedule.htm
Best,
Anna
Anna, I don't see how we can schedule different credit cards for different installments of the payment plan. I think that was the original question (and my question as well). Is that possible?

When I have needed to use two credit cards to pay an order in scheduled payments I split the total into two invoice payments, then schedule the invoice for billing for each card.
Not ideal as tickets can print (but you could leave a little fee on the order to prevent that until the invoices are paid)!

It seems possible because you have to select a credit card in the Payment Schedule pop up box. There is no requirement that it’s the same one you just charged the first installment.
Give it a try in Test.

Thank you everyone for your help! Shelley, you do have a point. There is no requirement that the same credit card is required for the second payment! I'm just wondering if we can save a credit card to a patrons file as we have specific restrictions for our agents. I will look into that.
Many thanks everyone :)
