CC receipt for contribution

Is there a way to print out a credit card receipt for a contribution, the same way we do for a ticket sale?  A particular state agency won't simply accept a thank you letter as proof of payment.

  • Shelley, I'm not aware of a way to do this but...

If the gift has not yet been processed, you might consider a screen shot of the payment window after you click to authorize the payment.

Also, if its the only gift in the batch you could print a Posting Report - detailed which might give them the information they need, or maybe the Batch Payment Detail Report.

  • You can judge how often this may happen  -- if seldom then it would be a matter of manual word document  being prepared to meet the agency’s needs .  But you can also just create a report that would allow you to print out  for the items.   The parameters would let you select items for printing without needing it to be a selected acknowledgment.

  • What are you using for a CC server? I know that you can print receipts with Transcend. You would simply find the transaction in the transaction browser, highlight and choose to print a receipt.

  • Interesting, thanks Jennifer!
