Is there a way to print out a credit card receipt for a contribution, the same way we do for a ticket sale? A particular state agency won't simply accept a thank you letter as proof of payment.

What are you using for a CC server? I know that you can print receipts with Transcend. You would simply find the transaction in the transaction browser, highlight and choose to print a receipt.
