Does your membership program have an auto-renewal option?
If so, is it an optional opt-in during the membership purchase process, or are people automatically enrolled and need to do something to opt out?

We have auto renew, it is an optional opt-in. We have memberships as product so we had to have a customizations built by Tessitura consulting.
We have have an opt-in auto renew program and a separate opt-in monthly/annually reoccurring donations program.
We don't have it as an option, but I can see it being asked for in the not too distant future. I have a meeting next week with our development department to discuss recurring donations. I believe memberships that auto-renew are in the queue for an update to v16 (meaning they won't roll out with the initial release).

We have auto renew - it is an optional opt-in. The only issue I've noticed is so many people have CC issues in between signing up and their renewal a year later. Then we have to call them and try to chase down a new card.
