Volunteers

Hope everyone is well and wish you all good health.

We are looking about adding our volunteers into Tessitura. Does anyone currently do so?

With all of this downtime during closures, it might be wise for us to tackle such a project now.

Thanks,

Janis

  • Hi! We at Sydney Living Museums do keep vollies as constituents in Tessi but purely for the purpose of allowing them access to benefits (eg free entry to our properties) and e-news sent via Wordfly. We have a VOL constituency which triggers member benefits via a pricing rule when they purchase tickets online/front of house. Our development team also see the vollies as a strong possible donor/bequest group, though the politics around this is still to be resolved. We do a monthly manual update of the vollie records (mostly to capture new ones or those that have left and have no more benefit entitlement). The volunteer program itself, eg rosters and recruitment, is managed through a separate system, Volgistics, which seems fit for that purpose.
