Happy Valentine's Day!
Does anyone use Tessitura to create wait lists for performances?
Thanks,
Janis
We do! We handle it two different ways depending on the need. We have created facilities with a "Wait List" zone that we open up after the general admission event has sold out. We also create a separate performance with forms if different information is needed.
We don't use this much, but we've created a secondary Mode of Sale, which doesn't require seating or paying for an order. This way we can connect a constituent with a particular performance, but not have to get them 'Paid' or 'Seated'.
Mostly this is for our summer camps or other Education programs.
This is a BRILLIANT idea! Is it available online too?
At this time, we haven't fleshed it out much beyond the initial concept. It isn't publicly available- we've been having folks route through our Reservations department, to avoid as many hiccups and over-bookings and confusion on the guest's side as possible.I think it would be doable to put it through TNEW, but you'd have to be precise with the customer-facing copy to make sure folks understand what they are, or are not, doing with each 'purchase'.
