Hi all!
I have a ticket open with Tessitura about this, but thought I'd post my question here as well! UVA has a student tickets program called "Arts$" that give students access to free tickets for certain performances. Ideally, they would go to the Arts$ page on our website and login with their student information. Once they have logged in, they will be re-directed to the tickets page where the free ticket/Arts$ price type will be activated on certain performances. Apparently this is what they have done in the past--however, I only have experience with typing in promo codes to trigger price types. What do I need to set up in Tessitura and TNEW to make this happen? Does anyone else "hide" their free student price type behind a student login? The student login is not associated with their Tessitura login (if they have one). Thank you for your help in advance!

Hi, I am newly into my role as a superuser so not sure if these suggestions will be helpful.
The way that I can think is that you use a price rule that is filtered to be used by those with a constituency of "student". So if you can find a way to mark all of the students in your system with a consituency attribute of say "student" then you can set the price rule up only to apply to those people (students) once they have logged in. Then its a case of just keeping the performances that it is applicable to uptodate in the price rule itself as you load them up for sale.
The other way would be to set up a new mode of sale that again is set up for those with constituency attribute "student" and once they log in, they would be pushed into a mode of sale that gives them access to these reduced price types. Again, relying on you being able to mark all your student constituent records with a "student" constituency attribute.
