Remote card payments

Hello,

I hope everyone is well. We are looking into future proofing and if we can take payments from home should we need to. We haven’t needed to so far but want to ensure we are in a position to, should it not be safe to go into the building. I would love to hear from you if you managed to set up a remote box office and what security measurers you put in place to be able to take card payments from home. I assuming phones were diverted to mobiles?

If you are able to share, that would be great!

Thanks,

Zoe x

  • Hi Zoe,

We're shortly going to start using PCIPal to process our credit card payments. PCIPal takes people's credit card details in a way which isn't visible to the person booking the tickets and so payments are taken in a PCI compliant way as we never get to see or hear people's credit card details. Not only does that take all payments taken over the phone out of PCI scope, but also means payments can be processed by someone working from home.

Happy to answer any questions you might have about PCIPal.
