Hi everyone! Does anyone currently use Queue It or Crowd Handler for TNEW waiting rooms? We're looking to add a waiting room and would love to hear how other organizations have liked either company!
Many thanks!
- Ashleigh
Hi Ashleigh,
We use QueueIt, however we have a custom website. We love QueueIt here in Pittsburgh, but I can't speak to how it works with TNEW. Best, Katina
Oooo thank you Katina! How was the install process (even with a custom website)? I'm also sussing out the workload and timeline to prep for this type of extension.
Oooo, that predates my time at the Trust, but I can connect you with some colleagues... Nancy Sheleheda and Patrick FitzGerald - how was the process?
When we re-opened after COVID, we were the first cultural attraction to open in Dallas (since we are outdoors). We did re-open with a very limited capacity and were worried about the demand so we engaged Queue-It. It's been a while, but I recall the installation being smooth and they walked us thru the process. Their dashboards are really great, too. In Winter 2020, we changed our Zoo Lights to a Drive-Thru which was super popular during COVID times. I always like to share the Queue-It dashboard of when our COO was on FOX news during two spots in the morning promoting the "safe" stay-in-your car drive thru event...it was at that point I was glad we had the waiting room!
We did leave them just last year due to a lack of need - we are still timed, but essentially unlimited capacity.
Hope this helps!

We use Queue-It with TNEW here at the Peace Center. It has been a positive experience with it for on-sales. Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions or would like to discuss further.
We're with TNEW and use Queue-It occasionally as well. It's been smooth each time!
Ooh, that's pretty! They say data tells a story, and you perfectly demonstrate that :-)
Hi - we use Queue-It for shows which we expect to be in demand. It works well, though it does need managing to get the best results. You can just set it to "X per minute" and let it do it's thing, but to best balance demand with supply you need someone constantly checking and adjusting the flow.
