Hello everyone!
My name is Lauren Coombes and I’d like to introduce myself as the newest Community Co-Chair for this group alongside the wonderful Yasmin. Whilst I was able to meet a few of you at TLCC I am very excited to get the opportunity to meet more of you at future events in person and online meetups as we work towards building a group for fellow Data Insights enthusiasts and professionals to share their interests, questions, top tips, and successes (failures too, there is always something to be learnt from them!).
I currently am the Senior Development Operations Manager at the Science Museum Group in London, UK which I joined in 2019. This role has been my first introduction to Tessitura, with a background in Alumni & Development in various Higher Education institutions. My role focuses on supporting our department in their use of Tessitura with a large portion of that on improving data processes/management as well as creating and managing reporting to support engagement activities and achievement of income targets. I create a lot of our reporting on Tessitura Analytics and am constantly learning new, exciting things I can do with it and am keen on supporting others in understanding and using it as well!
Outside of work and everything Tessitura I love hiking (although I’m afraid of heights, which makes mountain hiking interesting), reading as much as possible, and like to relax with a good video game.
I’d love to hear more about you all and your interests! Also, for anyone who was able to attend TLCC London (or even Denver, I’m sad I couldn’t make that one) a key takeaway or highlight you’d like to share with the group?
I’ll get the ball rolling on that one with just one or two sessions I thoroughly enjoyed at TLCC London:
I could say so much more, but this is a long post already! But do feel free to say hello!
Welcome Lauren, I'm looking forward to working together!Just to add few of my highlights from TLCC London - Similar to Lauren, I’m also excited about all the changes that are happening to memberships in v16. A lot of the limitations I’ve faced in reporting in the past look like they will be resolved by the new membership statuses, I’ll be thinking about next steps of how I make the most of the updates in our reporting when we upgrade.- I enjoyed the session Feedback at scale by the Royal Academy of Arts, this session coincided with some work I’m doing currently to improve survey reporting. I was particularly inspired by the reporting on keywords and understanding trends in feedback over time.- I gained a lot of inspiration from the Data to Drive Sales session by The Roundhouse and The Mayflower. This was a fantastic session filled with interesting ways to use data to improve sales, I was particularly interested in the clusters the roundhouse had built to segment their customers based on behaviours.I look forward to hearing everyone's highlights from TLCC!
Hi Lauren, nice to meet you.I would still consider myself fairly new to Tessitura, though I've been in my role of Customer Relationship Analytics Manager at Sage Gateshead for about 10 months now! Unfortunately, I couldn't attend TLCC, but I'll be catching up with our team that did go.I'm always looking to develop my skills on Analytics and share inspiration with fellow Tessitura users. Looking forward to chatting with you and the rest of the group soon, perhaps we can have a Teams chat in the near future, and I can share some things I'm working on and vice versa. Mark
Great intro Lauren, thanks for posting, so looking forward to working with you and Yasmin on this group!
Hi Mark,
Welcome (although 10 months late!) to Tessitura and I hope you were able to get some good information from your colleagues about TLCC.
Definitely more than happy to talk through analytics and how we use it. Will see what we can get scheduled in, I'm always intrigued by what others do with it and some of our boards have definitely been inspired by some we've seen in the past!
Hey all.
Very new to Tessitura and haven't really ventured into analytics yet. Would be keen to learn more about it, which are the best quick win reports to be creating, how are other venues using it sort of thing. Would also love to know more about crossover audience reporting too. Louise
Hi Lauren,
Thanks for the introduction.
I also had a great time seeing people at TLCC and getting to some really good sessions. Especially interesting to hear about everyone's plans re v16.
at the moment I am trying to focus on our use and roll out of Analytics as well as staff training. I unfortunately missed the session on scalable training as I had to help monitor a new show going on sale! Does anyone have the slides for this session or know where I can get them? I am not seeing them on the page for the session on the conference website/app.
Thanks, Donald
Hi Donald glad you enjoyed TLCC! Thanks for this, I'll enquire re. the slides for this session and come back to you.
