I was using Analytics to pull our subscription package revenue every week and all of a sudden, the numbers dropped drastically. When I try pulling the numbers from reports, I get a totally different number from a canned report and another one from a custom report. Looking for ticket price only, no facility fees included. Needing advice on the most accurate way to pull this. Perhaps my filters aren't configured in the best way in Analytics. Thanks!
The Ticket Count will be 0, but the Package Seat Key can still be counted via [# unique Package Seat Key] and technically the ticket can still be counted by switching from [Total Ticket Count] to [# unique SLI ID].
Chris Wallingford. I have to pull these updated counts for a report every Monday and I need to make sure I'm pulling the most accurate, reliable counts. Since it looks like our Analytics needs some work, I tried pulling the Package Sales Report, and the revenue was way higher than what analytics pulled, by a LOT. Is the report perhaps pulling in other price layers, like facility fees, or maybe our analytics is just that off. I'm just not sure what numbers to trust when I'm getting a number from analytics, a separate one from a canned report, and a separate one from an old custom report. And they aren't off by dollars, I'm talking thousands. Any advice would be great!
Hi Melanie,
Any chance you've recently upgraded to a new service pack? Or to v.16? We have had this happen and it turns out it was a load issue after we upgraded. Even if you haven't, might be worth it to get Tessitura to check if your overnight analytics load didn't error out and stop. We ended up having to get full loads for a long time every night.
Worth a check!
Nicki
