The cafe at our museum is changing operator and my CFO is asking if there is anyway to integrate cafe sales data with Tessitura. The only ecosystem partner for POS currently is SalesVu, which won't be used. Does anyone import this kind of data regularly? I can see setting up performances for items -- but do you need to set them up daily? What do you do if the menu changes regularly? Does anyone use a stored procedure to automate the import? Or is this a manual import every day? or week? Any insight would be appreciated.

Just to note, we signed on with Salesvu and our Cafe team HATED using it. It integrated okay with tessitura, and i was fine with it, but after 1-2 years we ended up dropping it entirely and they moved on to square.
We are still in limbo as to how to get membership discounts at the cafe.
Does Square integrate with Tessitura? We use it for merch sales and then just enter the bulk sales in Tessitura.
According to TN.com the only POS integration is SalesVu.
We have a members line and an admissions scanner at our café. The members present their performance tickets, and the scanners detect and display their membership status. I forget all the setup details, I'm afraid.
Square was set up as a business continuity tool so you can import data in.
