We did the point update to v15.2.34 last week (we are RAMP/Hosted). Everything looked fine in testing, and as it was "only a service pack update", I didn't really have any qualms about going to Live. Ever since the live update happened, though... users are getting a TON of daily dashboard emails, even if they weren't subbed to them (I have a RIDICULOUS number of them). Support just told me that that's a defect with the upgrade process, that wasn't mentioned ahead of time, and that the onus is on the dashboard owners to check each dash and unsubscribe people. And today, a 3rd party emailed me saying that they were receiving scheduled reports not meant for them. I checked the report schedule, and their email address is not attached to any current schedules. Has anyone else done this service pack update and had it not go smoothly? We've all talked about the many, many issues with v16 update, but I (mistakenly) thought a small service pack update would be smoother...
And I lied! I thought everything was fine because I haven't tried looking at any of our Analytics Dashboards in like a month. I need one this week and when I went to load it...nothing! It just keeps spinning and not loading! So I tried all of my other ones and the same thing is happening. The 3 little dots will just keep blipping like they are loading. After 10-15 minutes of that I gave up and closed it out!
For reference we just got 15.2.34.
I need these dashboard reports! How the heck do I get them back?
Not infrequently we have the first full load after an upgrade fail, but a ticket will get it corrected.
So is opening a ticket the best way to fix this issue in Analytics? Or are users able to download their dashboards and re-upload? This is my first service pack upgrade, so I'm not clear if this is something that each user has to do in Analytics every time we upgrade.
That's exactly what happened! They run fine now.
