Hi everyone,
We did the point update to v15.2.34 last week (we are RAMP/Hosted). Everything looked fine in testing, and as it was "only a service pack update", I didn't really have any qualms about going to Live. Ever since the live update happened, though... users are getting a TON of daily dashboard emails, even if they weren't subbed to them (I have a RIDICULOUS number of them). Support just told me that that's a defect with the upgrade process, that wasn't mentioned ahead of time, and that the onus is on the dashboard owners to check each dash and unsubscribe people. And today, a 3rd party emailed me saying that they were receiving scheduled reports not meant for them. I checked the report schedule, and their email address is not attached to any current schedules. Has anyone else done this service pack update and had it not go smoothly? We've all talked about the many, many issues with v16 update, but I (mistakenly) thought a small service pack update would be smoother...
We are just getting into using Analytics. Our TEST is 15.2.34, but our PROD is still 15.2.33. With all of the issues that everyone is describing, this is making me not want to have our PROD environment matching TEST and get the upgrade. I don't know when the shift happened, but is it ok for them to be different? And will it auto-update if I need to do a copy over from LIVE to TEST or vice versa.
I'm just trying to save my museum a lot of headaches for now. The next update we do will hopefully we to v16.
So, if you have version mismatches between Live and Test, you can't get a data refresh into Test (which I why I proceeded with the Live update). If you can hold off on updating Live, I would. I'm sure this will get sorted eventually, but trying to get everyone who owns a dash to go in and unsubscribe people is like herding cats. I may put in an enhancement on the ideas board for a way to let admins have some control for reasons like this
Ok. Good to know. We are already having so many other issues that I don't want to add another one. We probably won't need to do a LIVE to TEST copy for a while (I only do it when training new associates), so hopefully that will buy us some time for Tessitura to fix this issue.

Great minds, Kathleen Smith! I also posted a similar (the same?) idea this morning
https://community.tessituranetwork.com/ideas/i/ideas/allow-analytics-to-be-administered-by-sysadmin-user-group
I'm sure TN will merge the ideas, but all, please vote on both in case the votes don't carry over when they're merged. Thanks!
