Hello community! We're looking to implement post-visit surveys for regular visits to our museum, as well as for special events. Does anyone have experience/best practices to share regarding survey collection platforms and integrations/import into Tess for reporting? Thanks in advance!
We've used SurveyMonkey and Google Forms in the past, but obviously no direct import into Tessitura. WordFly offers a form creation tool, "WordFly Pages" I think, that seems like it would do this well. We investigated it for managing our COVID cancellations, but in the end our business case was going to be too complex: not for it to work (which it would have) but for it to have been an efficient use of our time. They were definitely designed more with surveys in mind.
I have solid thoughts on this and converted to WordFly Pages for postshow surveys. Data is captured to the customer record and so is actionable.
My favourite thing though is providing a clear pathway for customers. Instead of a thank you video in Youtube, a survey in Survey Monkey and donor pathway somewhere else, you can embed the video at the top of your survey, and have the confirmation page with a thank you and a donation ask or a subsequent booking/merch ask back to Tess. As always I also have a slideshow
WordFly pages could do with some conditional and forking (if / then) blocks. But for a short survey (which post show should be) then WordFly is great
Oh and also some more info on Do It Yourself Net Promoter Score. You can take your Wordfly survey data and pass it through an online NPS calculator http://www.npscalculator.com/en to calculate the score
Heath, thanks for your insight on Wordfly. We've been looking at possibly implementing it. Can you share how you generate the list of people to send the post-show survey to? I was hoping for an automated process using referential dates in a dynamic list. Is that how you handle it?
It's most often a dynamic list of ticket holders who attended the show 1 day prior (relative dates) and have opted in. Post show email has the CTA for the survey.
