Most beautiful news of the year is a great way of thinking about and learning tree diagrams - something we can do in Tessitura analytics. And if you have a look in the bottom right corner you'll see the simple excel spreadsheet that shapes that chart.
Scatter charts are another visualisation I use all too rarely but looks beautiful (and scary) in this data breach graph
The Stacked Bar chart of Diversity in Tech is really clean and makes a bit of an impact.
