Hello all,
I've been asked to create an extraction which includes first time ticket buyers from last season.
I know I can filter by "First Performance Date" in a dashboard widget, but can't find a way to get those folks into an extraction. I don't see "First perf date" as an extraction or list criteria, and had even considered trying to save the widget contents to a list and then using the list in my extraction, but I don't think I can do that without the extra step of exporting to a .CSV and then importing to a list.
Have I missed a more obvious way to get there?
Thanks for being smart, friends!

You can pull a widget directly into a list- see the links above.
Thanks Nathanael!
But clearly I'm doing something wrong. I have made my widget a "Jump to Constituents" widget, can see the little "Jump to" icon, and when I hover over it, it says the widget is jumpable, but I don't see the Save to a List icon anywhere. Do you know if that's a security setting?
It might be because the number you clicked on was only for a single constituent- that's happened to me before as well. Click on a 'grand total' number, or another row that you know will include multiple people. If you click on a row with only one constituent in it, it'll bring up just that constituent.
You could go for a simple extraction method.
In an extraction you could simply do two criteria sets. The first would be a suppression set of all of the buyers that have purchased in the seasons before. The second would be all of the purchasers from that season who purchased a ticket.
Anyone who purchased previously, should be suppressed from the second set.
You could save those to a list if you need to use them in a larger extraction.
Well, I failed at this too. BUT - I found the sample Jump to Constituents dashboard and copied it. While I still can't make it work, I've solved today's problem. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Thank you - this is a great plan! I'll use it to check my work!
