This forum has been a great help to me learning how to use Analytics, so I wanted to give something back.
I'm sharing a dashboard we have created to look at Gift Certificate (or Gift Vouchers as we call them on this side of the pond) sales in the month of December. See below.
The top 3 charts are for: Full Month, Month to Date, Break by MOS
The bottom 2 parts are: Day of Month using Data Bar s, and a Bar chart on sales by each operator (to make it a bit competitive!).
We used the Finance Cube, and a sum([Transaction Amount])*-1 for the values. Then filtered by Payment Method Type to get just Gift Certs.

I love this! The MOS split is particularly nice -- I can see my team wanting this information next year when we hope to introduce e-certificates

You may need to change the "Payment Method Type" filter to your "Gift Voucher" or equivalent option.

Thank you brother! This is marvelous. Now I have graphs to prove how much money I raised fulfilling gift vouchers on Christmas Morning the last three years.
I would have loved keeping this in Euros though. Seems so much more like I'm on holiday.
