I wanted to touch base, since we're all interested in using Tessitura data in Prospect2.Currently, we've got custom views that help us feed dynamic information into our pre-performance emails and our development folks are working on a a rolling series of emails based on membership expiration dates. On the web side, we're doing Abandoned Cart emails using site tracking and we're starting to create some more event-based messaging from here.
I'm curious - is there anything in particular that you guys have discovered you like using in P2? Or anything you'd like to see used?

OMG....we do pretty much everything you've done. We have an automation for our pre-arrival email. I'm CERTAIN our Devo team would LOVE to chat about your automation for membership renewals as well. We also do abandoned cart emails. We are also using their SMS texting capability for our Text Club. I'd like to see if they are doing anything for text-to-give. Also automated follow-up emails (for those who didn't scan any tickets, surveys, etc).
Sorry I missed the meeting today! Laura, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is launching membership renewals via Prospect2 this month. They previously used mail2 for this. We have a custom view for this and emails go out twice a month - once in the middle of the month and then one at the end of the month. The development department also has automations using a custom view for acknowledgments that go out daily for gifts made the previous day. I will add the other P2 thing I am happy about is list sync. We were able to create sync'd lists for memberships, so that I don't have to run extractions every time I want to send a pre-sale or invitation to donors at certain giving levels.
Very cool! How have we not talked before, when we're doing such similar work?? I have many questions:1) For the reminders, do y'all do a custom view or just use the fabulous x-days-before feature?2) How are you sending abandoned cart email information back to P2? Are you using Google Tag Manager and the event tag? (We're using GTM and because, I was worried about exposing AC's API key, we initially have been doing a fake pageview to trigger our events. Of course, we can only do that because we only sell twelve main productions that we need it for.) I'm actually going to move our event pixels wholly onto Google Scripts so that we have more flexibility with event tracking, so I'm curious how y'all are doing it!3) We're actually about to move our texting into P2 now...but were told that the built-in capabilities were mainly for emergencies, so we were looking into integrations! Mind if I ask how many emails y'all are sending each month?

Loved meeting you today as well! WOW - You guys are way further along than we are in our P2 journey!We do not use a custom view for performance reminders just the x many days. One of the reasons we moved over to P2 was to be able to do automated emails like abandoned carts - at conference I know my colleague, Hilary, reached out to someone at the Lyric to get more information about how you were doing it but we haven't gotten it rolling yet. We do use the Special Activites/Typeform integration and my Devo team is loving it so far (our events person used to track all event invites manually). My next project on the P2 side is to do small donor acks via an automation.
We treat these as a sort of "pre-acknowledgement" to let them know that their membership packet (which includes a physical card) & acts as the tax receipt is on the way. We have a version that goes out to new donors and a version for renewal/reinstatement.
