Does anyone have experience moving AWAY from a TNEW customization, to just use out-of-the-box functionality?

Gonna find out soon with entitlements, followed by seat type notifications.

I have some random leads for you, but none that allow us to move away from our customization. However, quite useful bits of functionality that we'll be taking advantage of:

• We sell education events with grades as the available price types, which gets us aspects of demographic data right there in normal sales reports.
• Greater ability to ask questions for any event is helpful (dumping everything into a single CSI notes field isn't the greatest, but at least there's now a good mechanism for collecting a bit of extra data without an extra interaction claiming the patrons' time)
• I'm planning to create a daily Triggered campaign through WordFly that includes a Pages form that collects info about affiliated teachers (so we can get them constituent records too) and probably about special accommodations. I'll map the various answers that come in to various CSIs and Attributes using the newly available integration. I don't love that it requires an additional round of time for the educators, but there are also some very good reasons to avoid asking for this during initial registration and the data mapping is way better for our internal processing.

Hope this offers you some new ideas.

We just moved our Comm Ed department onto Tessitura and are using (almost) everything out-of-the-box. We are use Aux item form fields to collect CSI info for School Shows when teachers register on TNEW and are using a Custom SSRS Report that Heath Wilder wrote that takes the TNEW CSI notes field and turns it into columns for each question and can be saved as an Excel file. We're also planning on using the same plan as Jamie with a Triggered Campaign and Pages Survey to collect data for other Comm Ed products that we haven't started booking live yet, like studio tours and docent programs, which just have too many variables and questions to reasonably put into TNEW forms. When we get there, I'll probably need to fudge the CSI report SQL some because the TNEW CSIs and the Pages CSIs use different delineaters between questions! But... that's a problem for later me.

If I could convince Tessimatura to move from separating Q&A lines with a pipe rather than a colon (as they do with WordFly Pages) that would make turning CSIs into usable tables a WHOLE lot easier.

Is this a report you'd be willing to put in th shared reports? I know my education would love this customization!

Yeah that's fine.

BUT as its a mondo CTE I'm sure clever people can improve it.  If you do please let me know. It was a lot of sleepless nights
