Pricing Rule TNEW SingleTicketListing

Has anyone successfully gotten a pricing rule to fire on the single ticket event listing page in TNEW?  If so, what is the trick?  I have:

  • selected all products for a message only rule triggered by a specific source/promo code
  • ensured that my pricing rule is attached to the correct pricing rule set
  • ensured that my pricing rule set is attached to the correct mode of sale
  • tested it in the application (nothing pops up when I enter the source code)

    You mean /single/eventlisting.aspx?  Is the message set to fire for that message type?  And what is the timing, if you add an item to the cart and then enter the source is that different to entering the source and then adding a qualifying item?

    Yes, single/eventlising.aspx.  I don't know what you mean by "message type."

    I have, since posting the

    original message, discovered that if I enter the promo code, then select something and add it to my cart, then go BACK to single/eventlisting.aspx, the rule fires at that point.  I am wanting it to fire when the promo code is entered prior to adding anything to the cart.

    If I add qualifying items to the cart and then enter the code, the discount rule applies but not the associated message (but that's a different rule, not the one that's supposed to fire on single/eventlisting.aspx).
