Hi
I was wondering whether anyone else has a My Account section on their website, where customers can see their previous orders? If so, can they only see their web orders or can they also see orders made in person/over the phone, through a different MOS?
I ask because it's something we're hoping to implement soon but we are running into problems with showing a full reflection of the order history.
Any suggestions or recommendations?
Thanks
Siobhan
Hi Siobhan
As usual, it all depends on how you do it, but we just use data from the ticket history view and as such it displays all bookings. However, if you ‘sell’ drinks vouchers and other admin stuff that ends up in Ticket History, you will need to filter it out.

Thanks Christopher, that's interesting - I can't really understand why it's such an issue for our web developers. I'll point them in the direction of the ticket history table rather than order history and see if that helps.
We do on our website and they can see all their orders regardless of MOS.

Hi Siobhan,
We have this on our site, but we initially hit a problem as we only saw partial histories, we could only see orders placed on the web. After some investigation we realised that it wasn't MOS related, directly, but was Price Types.
We changed the security permissions to allow the Web User access to ALL price types, as soon as we did this the rest of the history appeared.
Hope that helps
Mark
Paul Woods wrote a local procedure for us that queries our ticket history and is what is called by the ExecuteLocalProcedure web method. I’ve added it to my profile if you want to have a look at it/use it (though you’ll need to modify it to look at the correct fields for your setup). Apparently you just pass the customer number as a parameter to return the customer records. It took quite a bit of tooing and froing between our web developer and Paul to get it to work, and I don’t seem to have a record of the final steps of how it was resolved. However, if you get stuck, contact me and I’ll find out what we did to get it working.
