TNEW enhancement ideas

I administrate our TNEW page and generate all the content and have been looking for ways to improve the look and experience. I have basic knowledge of CSS and HTML but am by no means a web developer. I know enough to format my text and make it look nice.

For starters, I wanted to try and make it look more uniform with our other site that links to the TNEW page. We have disclaimers under the descriptions for rental events that is housed inside a solid red box. I hoped to have this information display on the production season/more information links the same way it looks on our other site. However, when I tried to add CSS/HTML code for a box with white text inside, it completely messed up the page and I had to remove the content. I found another performing arts center that did something similar with their purchase ticket links to create buttons instead of just a text link and hoped to do something similar but for just plain text. Is this possible through the Tessitura performance setup, or do most people have to request a customization?

Another feature we had hoped for was to adjust the pop-up display for the SYOS map when selecting the section for seating. We sell youth and student tickets online along with our adult priced tickets. The price range on the pop up displays the lowest youth ticket in that section to highest price adult. This has caused issues with Adults thinking they are entitled the price listed meant for youth/students. We already asked the TNEW people about this and adjusting the price range is not possible. Does anyone else who sells youth/student tickets online ever run into issues like this? Do you have any solutions to prevent this or do you just handle complaints as they come in if anyone does complain about it? We have thought about using an Alias price type over the default price type but we just can't think of a way to word it that will make sense on the price listing and in the cart when displaying tickets.
