date-driven promo-coded URLs not working

According to the TNEW User Guide - we should be able to use promo-coded URLs that automatically land someone on the calendar page and that the calendar is set to a specific month.
So if we are using a promo code that applies to shows in December - we should be able to pre-load that promo code into the URL and have a user land on the calendar page that is already displaying the month of December.
ie - like this:
https://support.arvadacenter.org/?promo=4602&m=12&y=2013
I have copied below the portion of the TNEW user guide that explains how to do this.
However, on our LIVE and TEST site - using promo-coded and date-driven URLs is not working.
For instance - this URL should land a person on the calendar page for December 2013 with the promo code 4602 already loaded on the page:
https://support.arvadacenter.org/?promo=4602&m=12&y=2013

The promo code pre-load works, but the landing on the correct calendar month portion of the URL is not working.
I have searched in Tessitura forums for any discussion on this and haven't found anything to refer. So is this something inherently not working in just our site?
Or do I have the syntax wrong?

Links to any page can include a promo code or source. When a link containing a promo code or source is used, the source is entered for the session.

To embed a promo code or source build your link like this: http://tickets.sampletheatre.org/default.aspx?promo=<promo code or source number>

Promo codes can be included with any of the other parameters listed in this topic. For example: http://tickets.sampletheatre.org/default.aspx?promo=ailey&m=1&y=2012
