Anyone else using placeholder subscription packages (because the dates aren't setup when subs go on sale), paying into those placeholders (renewals being processed and now new orders), then rolling the money paid and the seats into the actual performance packages when they are set up?
We're having problems with the rollover creating separate brand new orders. We wanted to create a package in the patron's order alongside the paid placeholder so all we have to do is remove the placeholder (and reselect the seats) and we have a paid off order with the correct dates and times.
Huge problem.
Thanks.

Adria,
You can force the addition of rollover items to existing orders by manipulating the “Add to orders created after” date in the rollover set criteria. If that date is set in the future, then new orders will always be created. However, if you set it to coincide with the creation date of the placeholder orders, then the rollover items will be created in the existing order.

Apparently we did this (I don’t understand rollovers, so it’s not me doing it) and still ended up with a totally new unpaid rollover. Now we’re deleting the placeholder, putting the money on account and using that to pay off the new, unpaid rollover.
Seriously Sucks!

Hi Jonathan.
I'm having the same problem this season that I had two years ago. I'm only in the testing phase but what's happening is the same.
We have a problem with the rollover creating separate orders and not going into the paid voucher orders that we have in each patron's account. I have been told that it's because the rollover is looking for another rollover order. It sees the voucher purchase as a single ticket purchase and creates a separate order. Is there something we can change in the placeholder voucher order to make the rollover see the voucher order as a rollover order? Or any other ideas?
