"spitter" tickets

Does anyone use "spitter" tickets, ie an extra ticket for a certain event. or attached to a certain MOS or pricetype, that can be used as a receipt for a free drink or event information?  I've heard that it can be done with other ticketing systems, but I don't know if it can be done in Tessi (other than setting up a separate event, which wouldn't work).

We have two stubs on our tickets one of which can be used for entry to VIP event or to redeem merchandise or what have you.  We have designed special ones for certain price types.  That being said, out ticket stock is larger than the “norm” (roughly 2.5” x7”).  I LOVE my giant spitter stock.

    Hi Ellen,

Nicole's solution sounds great - so I think we'll have to look into that too! What we do at the moment for any special event with a free programme or drink etc. is have a ticket design saved as a header so that a member of the box office team can print it along with the order...obviously this doesn't work so well for batch printing.

    Thanks,

    Caspian

  • Thanks! What I didn't mention is that we need the extra ticket for kiosk sales so no box office human would be present. Ah, we'll...

Our solution would work without a person, but you would probably want to buy new ticket stock for it so that the 2nds stub can be torn.
